Emergency Calls

As Community First Responders we can be called to any of the following conditions:

    • Cardiac Arrest
    • Heart Attack
    • Chest Pain
    • Asthma Attack
    • Breathing Difficulties
    • Epileptic Fits
    • Convulsions
    • Collapse
    • Sudden Illness
    • Choking
    • Diabetic Incidents
    • Stroke

We are not normally asked to attend emergency calls to children under 8 years of age due to the possible distressing nature of these calls and the specific protocols which have to be adhered to by Ambulance crews. However, we do train within the group so that should we be presented with such a scenario we could positively assist.
